The European Business School SE (EBS) is accredited by a major European accreditation body, the European Association for Distance Learning (EADL), which oversees the quality of educational programmes and the institution itself. EBS meets this organisation's accreditation criteria. We cooperate on our law and management programmes with the biggest Czech law think-tank Institute of Law and Jurisprudence, which has been providing its MBA and LL.M. educational programmes for 15 years. The EADL Accreditation Authority in conjunction with the synergy effect of our close cooperation with Institute of Law and Jurisprudence guarantees high study quality and an individual approach to every student.

Our school uses a different approach to education, compared to other schools. Our lecturers apply theory directly to practice. You do not need to learn any boring definitions, but you learn a subject directly through real examples and "case studies". Our individual professional MBA programmes are taught in Czech in a combined form. It is a combination of distance learning and so-called thematic meetings (TS) of students with our lecturers. They take the form of interactive lectures, called thematic meetings (TS). However, our thematic meetings are not compulsory, although we highly recommend participation, as our students can gain valuable experience that is not commonly available in any literature.

The graduates of our school and our MBA, LL.M. and other educational programmes find employment both at their own companies, which they manage, own or are employed as their top employee at. They also get employed by small and mid-sized companies, as well as prestigious domestic companies, such as ČEZ, Erste, Oracle, and numerous private companies or public institutions. Their professional skills and new knowledge from their studies are very effective in practice.

In the student section, our students will find their study materials and supporting items (syllabi, lecturers’ presentations). At the same time, EBS offers its students the services of its own library, which comprises more than 700 professional titles from various professional fields. In addition, our students can enjoy large discounts on their literature from selected publishers. Students can also borrow our legal literature or a lot of professional journals. We publish our own lecture notes, some of which will be provided to our students for free at the beginning of their studies; others may be purchased at a 20% discount.

Our distance learning form with the possibility of weekend thematic meetings allows our students to adapt their studies to their own time-schedules. Their study is thus fully flexible and quite suitable for completion even despite one’s demanding job or caring for one's family and children.

All the information on our thematic meetings, necessary study and supporting materials for our thematic meetings and seminar papers, including paper grading by our lecturers, is available through the student section, which is accessible to every student and maximises the convenience and availability of information to our students.

The total study duration MBA or LL.M. is 12 - 14 months (3 semesters). Thanks to our highly effective forms of teaching, our students are able to obtain quality education in the form of their MBA degree during their optimised study periods. The maximum study duration specified in our study agreement is 24 months. However, our school management accommodates our students’ needs and, if necessary, their study duration may be extended. Our three-semester study model allows one to write a dissertation thesis from the beginning of his study or complete it after one’s submission of all the seminar papers.
